Warranty Policy
S.A.M. STANDARD WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS
Below terms and conditions are only applicable to all Automatic Mahjong Tables which are entitled to the Standard Warranty:
- This Standard Warranty (“standard warranty”) is offered by SINGAPORE AUTOMATIC MAHJONG (“S.A.M.”) to you, the purchaser of our Automatic Mahjong Tables (“product”).
- This standard warranty is only applicable to products purchased as new and is only valid in the country of original purchase.
- The term of coverage for this standard warranty is 12 months from the date of delivery for your product.
- This standard warranty is not a guarantee or promise relating to the nature of the material, workmanship or performance of the product.
- This standard warranty only covers Mechanical and/or Electrical defects, please refer to “Exclusions from Coverage”).
Exclusions from Coverage:
- Products still covered under any other warranties in effect
- Any non-operating and cosmetic items such as upholstery, paint, color, or product finishes
- Consumable items used in or with the product such as (but not limited to) Mahjong Tiles, Frames and Desktop Flannel.
- User-performed routine maintenance and cleaning as indicated in the operating/owner’s manual
- Unauthorized modifications made to the product, altered serial numbers or repairs performed by non-authorized repairers
- External faults such as wiring and electrical connection or defects from using wrong electrical supply
- Accidental or intentional physical damage or poor storage conditions
- Damage as a result of natural disasters, civil unrest, fire, theft, spilled liquids, corrosion, animal or insect infestation
- Diagnosis where no defect has been found or noted
- Shipping or delivery charges and transportation damage if any;
- Commercial use (multi-user organizations), public rental, use for profit or communal use for multi-family housing.
- S.A.M. has the sole option to repair or replace your product with like kind, quality and specifications. This standard warranty will automatically terminate if the product is replaced and the replaced product will become the property of S.A.M.
- Under no circumstances shall this standard warranty coverage extend to any loss or injury to person or loss damage to property or any incidental, contingent, special or consequential damages or any direct or indirect loss.
- The total value of all repairs and/or replacements made during the term of this standard warranty shall not exceed the purchase price paid for the product.
- This standard warranty is not transferable, negotiable or assignable to any third party.
- The repair services are only provided during office hour (10am – 6pm, Mon – Sat and a min of 1 day advance notice is applicable. Any repair services requested outside of office hour shall be charged as per rates stated below:
Same day Service (> 4 hours)- $100 | Express Service (Within 4 hours) - $130 |
Sunday and Public Holiday - $180 | Outside Office hours (Mon – Sat) - $150 |
