The Real Problem
An automatic mahjong table is wonderful for the four hours you are playing. Then the game ends, the guests leave, and the table is still there. Most folding models still stand around 60 cm deep after folding. In an HDB flat or condo, that is not storage. That is furniture you did not choose.
Most Singapore homes do not have a dedicated mahjong room. The table lives where the family lives.

Introducing THE LINEA
Since 2013 we have delivered automatic tables into HDB flats, condos and landed homes across Singapore, and the most common worry has never been the shuffling. It has been the space. THE LINEA is our answer to that worry, designed around storage depth first and everything else second.
THE LINEA is a foldable automatic mahjong table from SgAutoMahjong, Singapore. It folds to 108 x 93 x 30 cm, about 50 percent slimmer than a standard folding automatic table, opens to 93 x 93 x 78 cm with an 80 cm playing area, moves on castors, and uses the GlideTrack Rollout tile system. It is priced at $1,388 and comes in Champagne Gold or Charcoal Grey.
The Numbers
Folded depth is the number that decides whether a table disappears after the game or stands in the way. Here is the comparison in plain figures.
Roughly the depth of a washing machine. It folds, but it still occupies real floor space and real sight lines.
The length of a school ruler, stood on its side. About 50 percent slimmer, so it stores where a standard table simply cannot.
Open, the table measures 93 cm per side, about 7 percent narrower than a standard 100 cm table. That works out to a footprint roughly 13.5 percent smaller while you play, with the same four seats and an 80 cm playing area.

30 cm is not a spec sheet number. It is the difference between a table you hide and a table you tolerate.

An Honest Note
If you have a dedicated mahjong room, or a corner where the table can stay open permanently, you are not paying for the folding and you will not use it. A table that never moves does not need to store at 30 cm.
In that case, look at the Rotator V3 instead. It is our full-size table, verified in heavy club use, and it is the better fit when space is not the constraint. We would rather point you to the right table than sell you the wrong one.

THE LINEA is not the cheapest foldable automatic table you can find online. That is deliberate. Here is what the difference actually buys.
Any table can fold. Folding a full automatic mechanism into a 30 cm body without giving up stability or the playing experience is the hard part, and it is what the price carries.
